We’re hiring for a Full Stack Engineer position on our team to help write Go code, expand our GCP footprint, improve our CI/CD pipeline, and better automation the builds of our base OS images. 

We expect there to be a learning curve for anyone stepping in to work on these systems.  We don’t need someone that has master level skills in all of these technologies, but we do need someone that is a seasoned software developer and experienced in Kubernetes and container technologies.  

How you'll make your mark:

• You will develop software solutions for the HPE HPC high performance computing environment.




• You will help to design and build integrations with the public cloud, and to provide a depth of modern design principles for the purpose of aiding in the modernization of the existing HPE HPC code base.




• You will work with Kubernetes operation; deployment; and automation, public cloud architecture and automation, and familiarity with other systems and tools such as Helm, GCP, or our CI/CD pipeline. 




• You will do most of the code development in Go and Python.




• You are a professional developer and know how to grow a code base in a manageable way.




• You like to solve problems.




• You are comfortable diving into an existing code base to understand and figure out how to improve it.




• You are a clear communicator that can explain their ideas and provide critical feedback to other engineers in the form of code reviews and other discussions.




• You are a self-starter who isn’t easily blocked and instead seek out solutions and guidance pro-actively.

About You:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering or equivalent job-related experience.




• You have experience as a Go or Python developer in a medium to large code base (i.e. more than just a scripter).




• You have experience using and managing Kubernetes.




• You have years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting large scale, multi-tenant software platforms, ideally through a well-supported API.




• You have experience with deploying and managing services in GCP, AWS, Azure, or OpenStack.




• You have experience developing robust APIs and providing implementations using a micro-services architecture model.




• You have experience with a modern, full-stack CI toolchain on a public cloud provider.




• You have experience in automating large-scale deployments with modern tools (Ansible, etc.).




• You have experience with container solutions such as Docker.



• You have Redfish Experience



• You have great verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organization.




• You can work remotely. This is a remote position.
