A Manager, Organizational Development is needed for a full-time, staff opportunity with Day & Zimmermann located in Philadelphia, PA. This position will be responsible for managing multiple organizational development and diversity programs and processes, including the corporate employee engagement survey, the 360 assessment process and execution of diversity strategy through employee resource groups oversight. Collaborates with Director, Corporate Talent Acquisition in the execution ofdiversity recruiting and employer branding initiatives. This position also partners with key business leaders and HR business leaders to design and implement custom talent/OD solutions to help achieve the business strategy, including but not limited to change management, succession planning, assessments, employee engagement, organizational design, leadership development, workforce planning & team effectiveness, and providing support as needed for performancemanagement and competency modeling.

The Work You'll Be Doing:


  • Internal Consulting. Meet regularly with business and HR partners in order to understand the business priorities and provide organizational, team, and individual development solutions to support the achievement of business strategy. Attend standing business meetings and provide organizational development updates. Partner with business unit training team. With all stakeholders, determine mutuallyagreed upon needs, solutions, roles & responsibilities, outcomes, and metrics of success.

  • Solution Design. Design custom and standard training programs including the creation of participant materials and presentation content. Research delivery and content options and make recommendations to creatively and cost effectively meet objectives. In addition to training, other potential solutions include, but are not limited to, creating and implementing plans to support change initiatives, conducting team effectivenesssessions, assisting in the creation of workforce plans, etc.

  • Facilitation. Recommend best delivery method (live, in person, pre-recorded, etc.) and then deliver custom and standard training and other organizational development offerings, including scheduling, coordination of guest speakers, and post-event follow-up.

  • Project Management. Manage resources and vendors to support project objectives. Lead the quarterly 360 process, including communication with participants, managers and coaches, creating reports, and assigning coaches. Lead the engagement survey process every two years, including weekly status calls with vendor and team, determining survey hierarchy, updating questions and creating communications to increase participation. Manage potential constraints such as time, scope and budget as required.

  • Diversity. Meet with ERG leaders regularly to provide guidance on events, activities and ERG strategy. Help promote membership, manage ERG intranet page updates with ERG leaders, encourage collaboration across ERGs and partner with corporate communications on ERG messaging.

  • Evaluation. Determine how well solutions met the need and overall objectives. Provide feedback and recommendations to promote sustainability of gains. Analyze trends via data from the various talent management systems.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:


  • Bachelors degree in HR, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years in performing consulting/training/D&I in similar size company (preferably in a related industry).

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP ideal.

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

  • Great attitude and team player.

  • Successful completion of background screening process.
