Position Summary


ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp. is seeking a Sales Assistant with solid administrative and general office skills to support the Sales department. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive Benefits package.  


Essential Functions



  • Maintain sales and equipment databases by inputting equipment information.

  • Generate reports from ERP and other systems.

  • Perform administrative support tasks such as entering data into Excel, analyzing Excel data, proofreading, transcribing handwritten information, and operating calculators or computers to work with records, invoices, and other documents.

  • Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and recording into systems and Excel files. Reconcile, note, and report discrepancies found in records.

  • Ability to take photos of used equipment being being sold.  May require local travel.

  • Prepares sales materials by compiling data and/or sales packets for sales team.

  • Process and prepare memos, correspondence, or other documents.

  • Transmit information or documents to internally within department and externally to customers, as requested by management.

  • Schedule appointments and maintain and update appointment calendars.

  • Respond to questions from customers via phone and email.

  • Provide information about establishment such as location of branches, hours of operation, or services provided.

  • Operate a multi-line phone to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information, taking messages and scheduling appointments.

  • Improves sales support job knowledge by attending training sessions.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience Requirements



  • Must have intermediate - advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word

  • Ability to learn ERP system, NexGen

  • Experience with heavy construction equipment is a plus

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines

  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week and overtime as needed

  • Able to sit for longs periods of time

  • Able to use phone, computer and other office equipment
