Crane Rental Estimator and Sales Representative

Dawes Rigging and Crane Rental, Inc. - Elk Mound, WI

Southern MN - Twin Cities    

Position Summary

Dawes Rigging and Crane Rental, Inc. has a career opportunity for a Crane Rental Estimator and Sales Representative for the Southern MN are to include the Twin cities. This is a full-time, exempt position with comprehensive Benefits based out of our Elk Mound (Eau Claire), WI office.

Essential Functions

  • Rental and sales responsibilities for Southern MN including the Twin Cities market. 

  • Coordinating  rental and sales with existing customers along with developing rental and sales with new customers

  • Communicating with management by submitting activity and results reports on a regular basis

  • Analyzing current marketplace status regarding pricing, products, marketing and merchandising techniques, etc.

  • Submitting recommendations on changes in products, services, policies, etc., based on evaluation of current competitive developments

  • Providing great Customer Service by responding to customer needs in a timely manner, follow up and investigating customer complaints, developing solutions and making recommendations to management

  • Maintaining records on area and customer sales; providing historical reports

Skills, Experience Requirements and Compensation Package  

  • Customer Service oriented; good communication skills; closing skills, territory management; prospecting, presentation and negotiation skills; self-confidence and motivation; product knowledge and ability to maintain client relationships.

  • Rental/Sales experience a must. Construction Equipment Rental/Sales experience a plus.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR.
