And we're proud of it.Position Description:The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Program Management Office (PMO) team. Our primary goal is to provide program level oversight for projects across the Investment Management Services market unit and project management level resources to manage both new client and internal projects. The team's focus is on resource collaboration, identifying and taking advantage of synergies across the group with regard to approach and project templates, reducing the complexity of internal and client communications, all while ensuring a continuous focus on delivering on time and on budget. The primary responsibility of the Implementation Specialist is to manage conversion related functions and act in a Subject Matter Expert capacity for production related inquires. This includes overseeing, coordinating and implementing specific activities required to process within the day to day operations, as noted below. This position requires interfacing with clients, internal operation teams, solutions, product development, relationship managers, and other groups within SEI.What you'll do:Manage data conversion activities related to the Portfolio Accounting platform.Define strategy & roadmap for technology related enhancements to portfolio accounting systems.Provide ongoing evaluations of portfolio accounting technology solutions and capabilities to ensure alignment with business objectives. Identify areas of risk, while monitoring the current environment, potential improvement areas, and the financial implications of those decisions.Gather, validate, document, and facilitate implementation of business requirements for technology initiatives (includes business/data requirements, data flows, data modeling, workflow context and design, and user interface designs).Liaise closely with clients, operations teams, portfolio accounting, and fund accounting to gather business requirements, debug issues, and provide general support for portfolio accounting systems.Act as a go-to portfolio accounting resource for any questions, enhancements and bug fixes while working closely with the development team.Assist with system upgrades, working with vendors/consultants, maintaining project plans, and testing plans.Document and maintain business requirement and test plans as needed.Work with developers to drive the implementation of business requirements, taking ownership from requirement gathering, setting user expectations, to final testing, and signoff prior to production release.Work in a fast-paced, team environment, keeping up with ongoing business requirements and priorities.Train other portfolio accounting users on system functionality.Assist with technical sales support as needed.
