GardaWorld, a leader in armored transportation and cash services, has a need for a Sr. Project Manager to be based in Boca Raton, FL or can be remote.

• Manage project activities using a project plan to manage resource conflicts, task dependencies, and shorten the critical path


• Recognize and articulate new tasks, incorporate them into the plan, schedule them, and assign them to appropriate resources


• Responsible for leading meetings and influencing colleagues to accomplish tasks within time deadlines


• Track and resolve issues, and discern whether to escalate issues if they present risks to the project


• Elicits customer requirements, documents them, and communicates to the appropriate internal team, and validates


• all requirements have been fulfilled


• Manage multiple simultaneous projects and report the status of each project weekly


• Develop an agenda and distribute it prior to each meeting


• Identify issues, escalate them to the subject matter experts and decision makers, and record decisions


• Take notes and distribute them after each meeting

• 
  5 years minimum project management experience
  


• Must have experience developing project plans


• Experience with managing risks and escalating issues to management


• Experience managing multiple, cross-functional projects at the same time


• Experience in banking or financial services preferred


• Experience in a customer facing role


• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to conduct telephone and web meetings with remote participants


• Comfortable in Excel and Powerpoint


• Energetic self-starter able to work with minimal supervision


• Able to work well in a team atmosphere


• Bachelor's Degree required


• 
  PMP Certificate or equivalent preferred
  


• 
  Able to Travel at least 20 % time
