Job Description:

The Head Spa Attendant/Receptionist ensures the Spa runs as expected by overseeing and supervising appointments and activities that may occur at the spa. The Head Spa Attendant/Receptionist provides coverage and supervision for spa reception area, fitness center and pool area, oversees the service providers in the absence of the Lead Therapist and is responsible for relaying maintenance and housekeeping requests to the proper staff.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards including all spa treatment rooms, dispensary, fitness center and pool area.Facilitate training with selected staff and cover product, services, orientation, computer, and customer service standardsEnsure all Spa Attendant/Receptionists understand products and services as well as common daily practices.Assists with special events and promotionsEnsure that work areas are clean and set according to proceduresAssist in keeping inventory at appropriate levels during the season by communicating with Spa Manager when items are lowAnswer guest questions in knowledgeable and professional mannerHave knowledge of ingredient(s) of product(s) and their benefits to the clientHave knowledge of and suggest to guest other beneficial treatments offered in spaHelp other associates with tasks to ensure guest needs are metCoach employees with positive reinforcement and counsels when there are performance deficiencies. Participates in annual performance review.Other duties as assigned

Work Environment:
TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold and/or humid conditions.

Physical Demands of Position Include:
Position requires you to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis and occasionally group lift up to 50 pounds. This position requires you to be able to talk, hear, smell stand and walk 80-90% of the time and to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend 10-20% of the time.

Background Check
Positions dealing with children, of safety sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check and MVR check. Employment is contingent upon a favorable background check and MVR check.
