Oversees the negotiation, structure and administration of contractual documents that establish business relationships with vendors and suppliers for pricing and purchasing goods and supplies, equipment, services, systems, software or technical equipment for internal company use. Ensures favorable terms and volume discounts are negotiated that comply with company policies and procedures, legal requirements and/or other specifications.
Manages the activities and staff involved in purchasing, procurement and pricing of goods and supplies, equipment, services, systems, software or technical equipment for internal company use.
Develops, documents, implements and coordinates procurement and pricing activities company-wide to maximize scale efficiencies and deliver industry-leading effectiveness. Ensures procurement strategy aligns with company strategy.
Develops and negotiates contracts, and implements and monitors procurement processes to ensure efficient execution and best in class acquisitions. Minimizes the company's risk exposure to finance, audit and legal issues.
Provides strategic procurement and pricing guidance and develops programs, policies and procedures to produce efficiencies and reduce expenses through strategic sourcing. Ensures compliance to formal sourcing/procurement policies and preferred supplier agreements. Directs, reviews, and approves all major sourcing decisions.
Manages a team including providing oversight and direction for financial and operational activities.

Education and Certification(s):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
Work experience in the Defense & Aerospace market with familiarity of industry requirements.
