As a lodgekeeper, you keep The Blakes public areas sparkling. You are responsible for professionally and safely performing a combination of cleaning and prep duties to maintain a safe, clean and orderly property while setting the next day up for success. Your dedication to your work helps create special memories and a home-away-from-home experience for each of our guests every day.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Acts as host or hostess to in-house guests by encouraging comments, fulfilling guests needs, and answering guests questions.Keeps public areas in tip-top shape by doing rounds on restaurant restrooms, guest hallways, lobby restrooms, elevators & stairwells, spa & fitness center locker rooms, and the fitness center.Pushing/pulling laundry carts for stock of linen closetsReliable attendance on all scheduled work daysPerforms all other related duties as assigned or requested including obeying safety policies and procedures and attending safety trainings.

Work Environment:
Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holiday and Peak days. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.

Physical Demands of Position Include:
Frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50-75 pounds. Standing and walking 40-50% of the time. Frequent reaching and bending. This position may require individuals to be out in winter conditions 5-10% of the time.
