Role:


Crown Castle is looking for a legal intern to join its Houston or Pittsburgh office for the Summer. The intern will work with and learn from attorneys, legal staff, and leaders across Crown Castle’s legal team, primarily working in the area of commercial and corporate transactions.  The internship scope will concentrate on legal research and project management, preparing correspondence, and drafting a variety of documents, which may include: sales contracts, marketing agreements, license agreements, software agreements, vendor contracts, data privacy, and human resources matters related to Crown Castle’s fiber solutions, tower, and small cell areas of business. The intern should possess the following qualities: Knowledge of the Law, Attention to Detail, Research Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Creative Problem Solving and Critical Thinking.


Requirements:



  • 1L/2L/3L (no recent graduates)

  • Ability to start in June 2024

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC applications

  • A strong desire to obtain new skills and exposure to working in a professional environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines

  • Professional business acumen

  • Excellent team player


Preferences:



  • Prior internship or work experience


Desired Class Level: 1L, 2L, 3L (no recent graduates)


Reports To: Managing Counsel


Work Plans: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday.  On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.
