Summary: Support the Finance Group in Fixed Assets by reporting and coordinating the capitalization process. Additionally, to accurately perform accounting and international accounting-related duties in the finance department's General Business Core Competency function.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage fixed assets by ensuring that they are added to the fixed asset system with adequate information, coordinate project approvals and that asset lives comply with Acushnet Company policy. Every month, record and report all fixed asset activity.

  • Control our global lease portfolio for ASC 842 & IFRS 16. Quarterly, record and report all lease activity.

  • Assist the Finance Department at each month's end by creating and entering other journal entries and account analyses.

  • Responsible for software costs, specifically cloud computing arrangements (CCA).

  • Perform International entries and analysis, including profit eliminations and intercompany reconciliations.

  • Complete additional projects as required, including depreciation plan and forecasts, various 10Q and 10K schedules and quarterly fixed asset audits of Acushnet Company facilities.

  • Analyze monthly departmental expenses and investigate variances.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree required. CPA, CMA or MBA preferable.

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant Fixed Asset Accounting or General Accounting experience is required.

  • 1-2 days a week in person, and the rest of the time is remote.

  • Familiarity with depreciation methods and regulations and ASC 842 & IFRS 16. Candidates should have excellent Excel skills, be extremely detail-oriented, and be comfortable communicating with various levels of management.
