Job Description:

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing payroll efficiently, assisting Accounts Payable with Foundation, assisting the Donor Data Coordinator with daily gift entry when necessary, reconciling small bank accounts, entry into the daily cash manager module, General Ledger data entry, completing payroll-related and cash spreadsheets, and general filing of financial accounting information.
Verifies new employees and employee updates in the payroll system. Reviews and corrects Workforce Go timesheets for payroll processing. Reviews and enters one-time and recurring adjustments to Payroll for all employees. Prepares reports for HSA and 401K Uploads and various reports as needed. Processes employment verification requests. Maintains payroll documentation as needed.Reconciles monthly benefit bills to PR deduct reports and coordinates corrections with HR. Maintains spreadsheet for sick leave pool donations and usage. Collects and verifies all supporting documents for Foundation AP bills. Enters invoices or other requests for payment accurately and timely, taking advantage of discount terms and avoiding late payment penalties. Prints Foundation accounts payable checks, matches checks to payment vouchers, and takes them to the CFO for distribution. Sets up new Foundation vendors as necessary, including obtaining necessary vendor information such as W-9s. Maintains vendor files in the accounting system to ensure accuracy/avoid duplication. Reconciles Foundation pcard statements, verifying documentation, coding, and data entry.Data entry and GL coding of Misc. Income spreadsheet. Daily data entry for cash managerReconciles/reviews daily cash receipts from all locations/departments and prepares AB CC deposit. Pays audiology invoices, performs monthly inventory workup, and maintains records on accruals and credit memos.Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
This position requires endurance to perform tasks over long periods of work hours and the ability to perform essential functions without posing a "direct threat" in the workplace. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
