Job Description:

The Assistant Project Manager will provide support to the Project Manager and Project Superintendent in providing the overall administrative, financial, and technical direction of a project. This position will work directly with the Project Manager to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with contract, design, budget, and schedule requirements.

Select Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain material tracking logs
  • Research, develop and write detailed RFI's
  • Coordinate with Design team for efficient responses to submittals and RFI's
  • Present in weekly project status meetings
  • Assist with project forecasting and month end financial reporting
  • Manage changes and ensure proper distribution of construction documents and/or project scope to ensure that the most current documents are being used
  • Coordinate with project team to ensure materials are available when needed on site
  • Review and verify constructability of plans and specifications
  • Contribute to the buy-out process by requesting and reviewing bids and aligning budgets as necessary to create subcontracts
  • Perform detailed review and processing of project submittals

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in construction industry, preferably working on Multifamily projects
  • Efficient knowledge in construction computer software and Microsoft Suite
  • Proficient organization and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
