I'm working with the Solar division of a global construction company who are looking for a hands-on Senior SCADA Engineer to join them in their Houston location on a full-time basis.
The position will be responsible for the creation, implementation and management of the SCADA systems, used across the critical infrastructure as well as monitoring real-time data and working with cross-functional teams within the organization to optimize processes moving forward.
Core requirements:
Demonstrable SCADA system design experience, working with project teams to design, develop and implement SCADA systems, specifically for the solar space
Solar experience is required
Experience deploying and knowledge of SCADA components, HMIs & PLCs
Hands-on Engineering experience is required as this role will be building instead of leading (there is expectation that this role will develop into a Manager role and be building a team in the next 3 years)
Other technical maintenance experience including troubleshooting, cybersecurity, documentation and dat analysis as it pertains to SCADA systems
Able to work onsite in Houston 5 days per week
