SUMMARY:
This Marketing Manager will provide critical support for our Marketing Team; executing the THOR/Speedway Motor Sports partnership, including planning, budgeting and project management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Speedway Motor Sports Partnership
Manage existing timelines, budgets and multi-agency collaboration and reporting for partnership
Serve as primary contact for each speedway and work to customize program as needed
Coordinate with assigned dealers on product showcase and support vehicles
Attend each race, managing onsite activations (15 races in total, 3 - 4 days per race) and representing THOR and our family of companies
Partner with a senior content manager to identify, contract and coordinate influencers and ambassadors. Track performance
Responsible for routing of contracts to creators and external companies
Capture photos and videos of all activation, providing recaps to team and leadership
Provide status and next steps for assigned program components
Collaborate with marketing analyst to monitor key KPI's in relation to partnership
Consolidate direction and create creative briefs for design, campaign and video projects
Other Events/Projects
Support marketing team with other projects and initiatives; including but not limited to THOR Dealer Open House, media events, industry events and campaigns.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
5+ years' experience in marketing with at least two years in a job that includes experiential marketing
Experience managing large multi-faceted projects
Critical, action-oriented thinker, open to challenges and new assignments, balancing the larger goals of a campaign without losing sight of important details
Highly organized with ability to independently prioritize tasks
Knowledge and experience with managing and tracking spend
Maintaining effective relationships both inside and outside the organization - being a trusted partner
Strong communication and presentation skills
Team player with a willingness to learn and provide support where needed across multiple functions
Bachelor's Degree required
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able and willing to attend all 15 race weekends (3-5 days of travel per weekend) and incremental travel to corporate as needed (if remote). Will work a shifted work week schedule during race weekends.
