Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: The Virginia / OhioReplacement Business Area is seeking a senior-level Software Engineer for itsMiddletown, RI location to support the Weapons Analysis Facility at the NavalUndersea Warfare Center.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor'sDegree related to Computer Science or Software Engineering is required.Master's degree is ideal.
Experience: 7 years of workexperience with C/C++ programming is required. 10 years of work experience withC/C++ programming is ideal.
The ideal candidate would also have experience with one or more of thefollowing, in order of project needs:

Work Environment & Physical Demands: This position requires sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
