Job Description:

Summary
Responsible for providing general administrative and sales support to the Commercial Banking team. This includes client service and processing of loan and deposit products through the entire client life cycle; coordinating work within the department as well as with other departments; and responding to inquiries or requests for information. Involves daily interaction with a diverse group of clients, external vendors, and interaction with internal staff at all levels of the organization.

Primary loan customer contact for Commercial BankingServices internal and external customers with excellent customer service which includes answering customer queries and completing administrative work to process loan and deposit requestsAnswer phones and greet clients; answer client questions regarding bank products and servicesFacilitate loan collections in collaboration with Commercial BankerFacilitates and manages credit application workflow as it applies to the appropriate credit channel including collecting financial information from client, submitting applications, and managing loan workflow to closing.Ordering Appraisals, Title Work, and Flood CertificationsFacilitate draw requestsCloses and funds new loans and renewals in coordination with Commercial BankerFollow up on collateral exceptions and financial statement requests on a regular basis and as needed for new credit requests.Helps manage the calendars of assigned Commercial BankersIdentification of cross-selling opportunities and assisting in facilitating setup of other non-loan products and services.Provide accurate support to the Commercial BankerAssists with ongoing review of credit files to ensure accuracy, including preparation of files for internal/external audits and annual reviewsGather customer data needed to prepare loan documentation, modifications, etc.Works closely with Cash Management to successfully onboard new Cash Management clients, as well as provide guidance to Cash Management clients to the appropriate resource for servicing.Manages commercial loan maturity pipeline, ensuring that renewals are approved and closed in a timely manner.Attends scheduled meetings with commercial loan team to discuss workflow items such as renewals, new pipeline items, servicing requests, past due reports, etc.Prepare reportsPerforms new note edits on Commercial Mortgage Loans.Promote the banks products and servicesStrive to meet/exceed established Department and individual goals while taking ownership of achieving those goalsContribute to a positive working environment that facilitates exceptional service and employee engagementEnsure continuous training and development for selfFollow policies and procedures to protect the bank from risk and exposure

Work Environment & Physical Demands
This job operates in a clerical office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment. This position
requires manual dexterity and the ability to lift, bend, or stand as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Full-time employee must work 30-40 hours per week average to maintain full-time status.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent requiredSome college coursework preferredFour or more years commercial loan process/documentation experience preferredNotary Public, or the willingness and ability to become one
