Responsible for the preparation and calculation of Revenue Interface, and Franchise Fee, Multiple Dwelling Unit revenue share payments and accruals using custom Business Intelligence software. Programs new or automates existing accounting business processes carried out by the field. Responsible for the gathering of requirements from various internal users, including finance and regulatory, and translating into technical requirements. Responsible for minor development including formulating and defining systems and objectives through research and an understanding of applicable business systems. Assures the effectiveness, accuracy, and deployment of those systems. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.
-Analyzes business and user needs, documenting requirements and revising existing system logics as necessary.
-Prepares detailed functional and technical specifications from which programs will be written. Conducts studies pertaining to development of new information systems to meet current and projected business needs.
-Responsible for the integration of data from multiple external sources into unified reports.
-Supports in the preparation of project-phase plans, implementation schedules, and cost benefit estimates.
-Supports in the monitoring of implementation progress for compliance with budget and time constraints.
-Ensures data quality and integrity across data specific application implementations. Utilize SQL to develop data quality audits designed to ensure completeness of billing system extractions, code mapping, and revenue share payment amount.
-Functions as a liaison between the client community and internal IT and/or external software vendors to develop system solutions to processing systems or business problems.
-Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

-Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Information Sciences, Technology, Computer Science
-Generally requires 2-5 years related experience
-2 years experience and demonstrated proficiency writing SQL code.
-Minimum of 2 years of experience with end-user reporting tools such as Tableau, Hyperion, Cognos, Microsoft Reporting Services.
-2-3 years in a similar work environment (cable industry/Accounting experience desired but not required).
-Experience working in a data warehouse environment preferred.
-Proficiency with shell scripting.
-Prior experience working in an Oracle environment a plus.
-Prior experience working with Unix/Linux servers a plus.
-Prior experience in implementing new software platform(s), data conversion a plus.
-Strong leadership, verbal and written communication, organizational skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
-Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
