Job Summary:

Safely drive Frac, Coil and Bulk Plant Equipment over various road types and conditions.

Job Duties:


  • Drives Company vehicles over various types of road conditions and terrain, including highways, rural roads with paved and gravel surface, and off road situations including two track roads. Road conditions include steep hills, muddy roads, snow covered roads and other poor conditions.

  • Installs tire chains for better traction as needed.

  • Maintains all employee related paperwork, time sheets, driver DOT (Department of Transportation) logs, trip sheets, etc.

  • Washes and maintains equipment to Company standards.

  • Performs all transportation truck driving duties using correct methods and processes.

  • Performs pre-trip and post-trip equipment checks.

  • Follows and supports all Pioneer HSE policies at all times.

  • Performs other/additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.

  • Internal applicants should meet all eligibility requirements per employee handbook.

Qualifications:


  • High school education or equivalent.

  • Able to learn how to operate PS equipment for testing and operational needs.

  • Minimum 1 year experience driving with permitted oversized/overweight commercial vehicles with combined vehicle weight of 69,000 lbs. or greater and a clean driving record required.

  • Must have experience with 5 axle combined tractor/trailers.

  • Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with HAZMAT (Hazardous Materials) and Tanker endorsements, with clean driving record.

  • Able to obtain a Radiation Certification within 90 days.

  • Forklift and Manlift certifications must be obtained within 90 days.

  • Basic computer knowledge.

  • GDL level 2 required or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.

  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend or climb for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions (rain, cold, snow, sleet, heat).

  • Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne, particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE.

  • Able to regularly move/lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally move/lift up to 100 pounds.
