Job Description:

Global Communications is seeking an Executive to lead the development and adoption of analytics and digital solutions to quantify and deepen communications impact, improve decision support and drive growth.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead communications analytics programs that yield differentiated performance for Prudential. This executive will discern and apply relevant data and insights from analytics tools to improve communications execution and enrich data initiatives underway across the broader organization.

  • Advance the evolution of communications data capabilities, from data creation and curation to commercialization, to elevate the strategic and business value of communications within the broader enterprise.

  • Drive the expansion and use of communications analytics tools and data capabilities deployed in the US into global markets.  Serve as a member of the Global Communications Senior Leadership Team.

  • Provide incisive, strategic counsel to C-suite decisionmakers, lead senior experts and nurture junior talent.

  • Partner with data intelligence and analytics colleagues across the enterprise to leverage data and digital resources and accelerate the use of communications intelligence in support of business goals and growth.

  • Develop frameworks and lead the establishment of consistent business-oriented performance indicators for global communications efforts; improve execution and quantify communications contribution to business unit and enterprise brand goals.

  • Cultivate and strengthen analytics talent and culture across the global communications team.

  • Education: Master’s degree or higher in statistics, mathematics, economics, communications or a relevant field of study preferred, but not required with proven experience and success track record; MBA is a plus.

  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in business, marketing and/or communications analytics - at least 5 years leading communications analytics or data solutions development, preferably within a global marketing organization, media research company or consultancy.

  • Management style: Entrepreneurial and biased to action. Motivational leader invested in talent development. Proven ability to partner and deliver strategic business value in a complex organizational environment.

  • Leadership mandate: Develop and apply insights from analytical tools and program to shape business outcomes.

  • Strategic forward-focused thinker with proven ability to drive the development and adoption of innovative data and digital solutions to address complex communications challenges, demonstrate communications value and keep ahead of industry trends.

  • Deep knowledge of marketing and communications data providers and digital analytics solutions across earned, owned and paid.

  • History of improving organizational performance and driving business growth through the strategic development and application of data, analytics and digital solutions.

  • Knowledge of content and channel strategy across traditional, social and emerging platforms.

  • Ability to design and implement research and analyses to test specific hypothesis around optimal communications creative and channel mix.

  • Ability to package and present insight in an actionable way.
