Job Description:

- The Strategic Pricing Analyst is responsible for the execution and measurement of pricing actions and strategies across businesses.  The position will use qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated findings.   The Strategic Pricing Analyst is responsible for the execution and measurement of pricing actions and strategies across businesses.  The position will use qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated findings.   - Coordinate loading of pricing data into Oracle pricing module.  - Work closely with field sales, marketing, and finance with regards to customer pricing and profitability across all regions and markets. - Participate in monthly analysis of price realization (erosion) on specific areas, quotes, market segments and/or customers. - Support the execution of pricing actions that address identified pricing-related performance improvement opportunities. - Contribute to documentation, communication and review of internal and external comparative price data, including wins and losses due to price. - Assist with the development of presentations and reports to various levels across businesses and functions. Requirements: - REquires a minimum of Five (5) years of professional pricing experience.  (Customer Service, Sales, Finance or Marketing experience a plus. - Requires a college degree in a business discipline.  MBA a plus. - Requires proficiency in use of PCs and Microsoft Office products.  Excel experience critical.  Oracle experience a plus. - Requires strong analytic and critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently yet collaboratively, within Sales, Marketing, Finance as well as other functions.  Attention to detail required. - Ability to maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires management/completion of multiple tasks. - Requires excellent communication skills (oral and written).
