Job Description:

Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. is currently looking for an Hourly paid 12/hour Night shift Freight Coordinator to join our team in Lehigh Valley, PA. This 300,000 square foot plant was built in 2014 and is the newest Ocean Spray facility, capable of producing up to 40 million cases per year. This volume represents 40% of Ocean Spray s North American volume and is operated with a workforce of approximately 187 employees.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Manage all outbound shipments:Create STO (Stock Transfer Order)
Assign trailer to dock door in multiple systems
Create BOL, and all necessary seals

Accountable to create all necessary shipping paperwork
Maintain accuracy of yard management system
Purchase, monitory delivery, and inventory levels of pallets for production
Work closely with carriers to ensure proper drop trailer pools are maintained.
Works closely with dedicated fleet freight coordinators.
Receive raw & packaging components into SAP as needed.
Manage FIFO of trailer unloading for packaging components
Act as the primary point of contact for onsite Security Guard

Review daily production schedule for needed items from drop trailers
Coordinate unloading of live deliveries
Prepares production update for Distribution Center truck scheduling
Verify delivery appointments compared to master schedule
Reference Warehouse Management System and SAP for inbound and outbound schedules for daily operations

File and maintain all necessary shipping and receiving records.
Participate in proactive safety observations
Participate in team processes and maintain good customer, supplier and employer relationships
Report health/safety hazards to supervisor or EHS Manager and meet all EHS requirements. Attempt to correct hazards or notify the appropriate person
Perform all work in accordance with GMP s, housekeeping, good safety practices, and Environmental regulations
Attend meetings and prepare reports as needed
Unload or load trucks using a forklift as needed to support department workload.
Strong customer service, teamwork, and collaboration skills
Greet and interact in a positive manner with truck drivers, internal/external partners
Keep supervisor and lead informed of an issues, problems or potential conflicts
SAP
Red Prairie or similar Warehouse Management System
