Job Functions:Job Summary
This position is responsible for the assembly and testing of each unit control panel for power generators.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork from build book and required drawings- electrical and other work instructions
Assemble panels in an accurate and timely manner
Conduct testing procedures based on standard criteria
Select and use appropriate tools and devices
Recognize obvious defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship and general quality
Responsible for following safety and environmental procedures.Procedures can be found on our company intranet
Other tasks as assigned by supervisorQualifications:Education/Experience
Preferred: High School Diploma or GED;
Preferred: One to three years experience, background and/or training in the power generation industry, schematics, mechanical and electrical or comparableKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to read and interpret general procedures
Ability to work with simple mathematical figures and calculations such as adding, subtracting, multiplications, percentages and to apply other forms when required
Ability to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to use power tools, hand tools and testing equipment
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently
