Job Description:

Position Qualifications:

Education Required
Bachelor's in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related application development/support experience.

Required Qualifications
• Experience in the development and/or support of applications used by non-technical customers to support and enhance business processes, typically 5-7 years for Senior Developer in leadership roles including experience with programming tools, a comprehensive understanding of database technologies
• Experience contributing to the support, configuration and development of at least one Epic-specific healthcare enterprise application
• Experience working with application owners and/or vendors to analyze system and integration requirements
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong focus on customer service utilizing established processes and procedures
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with basic project management
• A valid driver's license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical staff
• Demonstrated job-related experience and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience supporting an EHR in an ambulatory or hospital setting
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with any of the following workflows: scheduling, referrals, ambulatory or inpatient clinical documentation, patient EHR portals, and telemedicine
• Epic certification(s) related but not limited to the following: EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, EpicCare Procedure Orders, Epic MyChart, Epic Prelude, Cadence, Referrals
• Technical project lead experience implementing and managing multiple small to large-scale projects
• Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical staff on system implementation projects
• Proven ability to write application test scripts
• Experience implementing videoconferencing solutions for business/ healthcare.
