Job Description:

Data Shipping Clerk

Location: Portland, OR


Ann Sacks is seeking an outstanding individual to join our shipping and receiving team as Data Shipping Clerk. This position will be responsible for performing a variety of data management and analysis functions to support the Warehouse and Samples teams. Consolidate, track, and provide analysis for production metrics. Create documentation required to export international shipments. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Practice and follow all required safety regulations.Participate within a safety conscience workforce, which maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  • Update all primary weekly production metrics. Verify accuracy of data, and post to Glass Wall.
  • Cross functional support with S&D Team Leader to provide backup assistance for order scheduling while other positions are on vacation.
  • Print Production Order tickets, and verify printed order accuracy, as well as re-print back-ordered production orders.
  • Print and process warehouse pick lists.
  • Create the Commercial invoice, packing list, nafta and other forms required to ensure successful export.
  • Audit shipment information.
  • Coordinate specialty shipments.
  • Coordinate with ANN SACKS freight carriers to obtain shipping quotes.


  • Two-year Associates Degree; plus two years' experience data support; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in Supply Chain import/export processes and compliance.
  • Proficient with MS Office software applications including Excel.
  • Must demonstrate solid competency with advanced Excel functions and data management
  • including Pivot tables.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Previous experience and understanding of Microsoft Access a plus.
