The Retail eCommerce Assistant Manager will drive the store sales by receiving, processing/ sorting jewelry, ensuring accurate listings, shipping product, and providing customer service through online marketplaces. The Retail eCommerce Assistant Manager will ensure that retail employees perform and carry out required tasks.
Essential Job Functions:
Supervises hourly employees and all aspects marketplace operation in the absence of the Retail eCommerce Manager while adhering to and supporting all security/LP protocols.
Provides great customer service through online marketplace communication and applicable marketplace rules and guidelines.
Partners with Retail eCommerce Manager to train new hires, coach and support employees to meet or exceed production and sales goals.
Responsible for providing clear communication and feedback to employees on job tasks projects based on sales and processing figures.
Complies with established Goodwill policies and procedures and collaboratively works with all cross-functional departments including transportation and retail stores to achieve desired results.
Ensures eCommerce inventory is branded and merchandised in a manner to attract and retain customers and donors.
Completes required audits to ensure inventory, listing, and shipping accuracy.
Assures stock and sales meet individual marketplace guidelines and eCommerce policies.
Displays goal-minded leadership skills by reaching goals and ensuring tasks are accurate and completed on time.
Inputs necessary information into software for tracking and inventory management in a timely and accurate manner.
Displays good judgement in elevating concerns to Management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Positions Supervised: All designated non-exempt eCommerce employees.
Have High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
Must have management/supervisory/team leadership skills and experience; Retail and/or light manufacturing experience is a plus.
Manages long periods of standing, recurring bending/crouching/reaching/stooping and ability to lift 30 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must have the ability to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location is required.
Must have valid driver’s license and insurance.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
