What you will do

He/she will execute and maintain effective and successful channel marketing programs and channel sales enablement tools to support our Channel Partners (dealers/contractors) for all Industrial Refrigeration channels and brands in the residential and commercial product segments in North America. You will utilize Salesforce, Pardot and other marketing automation systems to ensure a smooth customer journey from initial contact to sale and beyond.

How you will do it

  • Utilize Sales and Marketing Programs to nurture existing dealers/contractors and increase brand awareness.

  • Promote training protocol and collaborate with the training organization to promote training to sales, partners and dealers.

  • Coordinate communication to stakeholders and channel partners by creating a communication cadence to keep all key stakeholders aware of status and progress.

  • Provide input to other functional areas to meet demands of the marketplace.

  • Identify areas of improvement with an eye towards applying best practices.

  • Collaborate with industry partners, VOS and VOC, for strategic clarity and alignment, scalability, and execution that drives business growth.

  • Manage budget and adjust tactical mix based on performance by identifying optimal spend on programs through management of budget, processes, vendors, and sales teams.

  • Marketing vendor management.

  • Measure and report performance of all marketing programs and sales enablement tools and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) to determine program impact and optimization opportunities.

  • Develop and deliver customer/sales-facing presentations to executive-level customer partners, and support marketing and sales teams with ad-hoc reporting requests, including PowerPoints.

  • Work with Vendors and JCI internal departments (i.e., Creative, Portfolio) to develop channel program material to support program launch and ensure work is aligned to strategy.

  • Project management/execution and resource planning across multiple simultaneous projects.

  • Communicate project status, including risks and action items, to drive completion in a timely manner.

  • Manage team to efficiently and effectively satisfy all customers.

  • Empower the channel marketing team to own and execute on Channel Marketing’s strategies and programs.

  • Own and maintain Frick brand website.

  • Develop, organize and execute trade show plan for Industrial Refrigeration (IR).

  • Organize and provide logistics for customer meetings.

  • Develop social media presence where appropriate.

  • Work closely with product managers in Marketing and promotion of IR products.

What we look for


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing operations, marketing, communications, business or related field.

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience with a demonstrated track record of accomplishment in marketing-driven marketing/sales enablement programs and campaigns.

  • Highly customer-focused and able to manage expectations.

  • Experience architecting and executing complex multi-stage marketing/sales programs.

  • Enterprise cross-functional team leadership experience.

  • Familiarity with metrics reporting and understanding of KPI performance levers.

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (written, oral and presentations).

  • Experience and management with communication calendars.

  • Effective organizational skills, with track record of completing projects on time and on budget.

  • Ability to work effectively in a high-growth, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to navigate a matrix-managed and geographically-dispersed organization.

  • Ability to manage vendors to deliver timely customer service, training and programs to channel.

  • Ability to synthesize input from multiple teams and individuals by working with sales teams and developing customized marketing plans with data to meeting individual channel/partner strategies.

  • Action-oriented, self-starter with commitment to delivering with excellence.

  • Ability to work and manage Channel Marketing team, set priorities, work on multiple projects simultaneously, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure.

  • Influence other departments on work streams that have down flow impact to Channel Marketing Programs/Infrastructure, and Channel Partners’ customer experience.

  • Ability to bring structure in an unstructured environment.

  • Willingness to “roll up the sleeves” and do what it takes to get the job done.

  • Travel up to 30%.


  • Excellent at problem-solving and resource management.

  • Effective management of team and non-direct reporting resources.

  • Experience in the Industrial Refrigeration industry, HVAC industry and/or technology.

  • Familiarity with marketing and sales enablement program management.
