Best Buy is seeking a distinguished change catalyst to join our thriving, creative, and energetic Agile & Product Practices movement. Best Buy has shown it can pivot, iterate, and respond to change, and this Coach will help maintain momentum as we imagine what’s possible in enriching lives through technology. As a Principal Agile Coach on our Agile and Product Practices team, you will probe, sense, and respond alongside leaders facing some of the most complex opportunities in North American retail and technology. You will lead as an example among talented creatives, business people, product gurus, data heads, and technologists in increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous times. You will foster a culture of positive change and growth by coaching, facilitating, training, and mentoring a wide range of clients at every elevation, including but not limited to large company divisions, Product Groups, multi-functional groups of both Product and non-Product teams, Executives, Senior Leaders, and numerous stakeholders across the company. Principal Agile Coaches are distinct from our other coaches in that they often work with the most complex and uncertain problems in the company, pivot and context switch more often, and must build rapport for collaboration and change quickly. These coaches will serve in rapidly shifting contexts with the potential for frequent pivots and must be highly self-directed, acting and deciding with minimal supervision and prescription. This coach will see the widest range of Agile acumen and handle the gamut from complete novice to the most seasoned technical experts. Principal Coaches must be exceptionally well suited to marshal others to continue momentum in their wake, to selflessly let their good ideas be implemented and owned by others, and to serve as a strong mentor to other Agilists, particularly other coaches.
