Business Unit: Job Summary:The Manager, Product Management - Video, will manage a direct and matrixed team whose responsibility will be facilitating the strategy, launch and penetration of products and services within our XFINITY Video line of business. This includes working with HQ/Division/Regional partners to develop product/service needs, strategies, priorities and trial/launch plans; working with HQ and Division partners to develop a price/packaging strategy to deliver both customer and revenue growth; working with our Sales and Marketing Operations and Division PMO on launch planning and execution; and working with Acquisition/Retention Marketing and Channel Management on our "Go To Market" Plans to drive market share. This leader will lead a team across a variety of disciplines: pricing and product operations, programming and app strategy, business case development for new concepts, deployment of new products and features, oversight against current business plan across subscribers, market share, revenue and capital driven by product-led programs. Develops detailed product features and requirements, and develops implementation plans.- Participates in product modification, cost reduction, margin analysis, advertising and promotion, forecasting, product positioning, and pricing strategies.- Accountable for profit and loss or budgetary management for assigned products.- Directs the product planning and scheduling process according to sales volume, inventory requirements and materials availability.- Establishes and implement policies and procedures needed to achieve goals.- Develops, mentors, and trains Specialists to ensure department work performance and objectives are met.- Manages, gathers, and analyzes competitive intelligence data for product lines.- Provides product support and documentation and develops product materials.- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
