Looking for an Information Security Architect in Basking Ridge NJ

What you will be doing as an Information Security Architect :

• Responsible for the performance of all information security functions (excluding system administration) within an organization
• Help defend systems against unauthorized access, modification, and/or destruction and develops policies and standards that guide the protection of data and information assets
• Configuring and supporting security tools such as firewalls, anti-virus software, and patch management systems
• Implementing network security policies, application security, access control, and corporate data safeguards
• Participates in disaster recovery planning and provides input for risk assessment and oversees network administration and Conducts security audits
• Scanning and assessing network for vulnerabilities and monitoring network traffic for unusual activity
• Developing and updating business continuity and disaster recovery protocols and procedures for incident response
• Manages day-to-day operations of outsourced vendors or vendors with contractual agreements to provide information security services.

What you bring to the table as an Information Security Architect :

• Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent degrees in information systems
• 4 years of experience as a System administrator
• Risk and quantitative analysis experience
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages, security tools
• Security certifications like CISSP, CompTIA Security+
