Sr. Quality Engineer - Automotive Mfg *Title:* Sr. Quality Engineer - Automotive Mfg
*Location:* Denver, PA / Ephrata, PA / Morgantown, PA (we have 3 facilities that you'd drive between occasionally)
*Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 + Relocation $$ if needed*

Founded in 1965 we are the premier producer of truck & van bodies in the US. We specialize in the manufacturing of dry freight, custom cargo, refrigerated truck & platform van bodies with 14 manufacturing facilities across the US (3 of them in Pennsylvania that you'd travel between). In this role, the Sr. Quality Engineer will lead & implement our quality systems at the factory & corporate level using lean techniques for quality improvement.
What You Will Be Doing 1) Ensure the quality standard of raw material & products produced meets production standards
2) Responsible for formulation of testing procedures for quality
3) Record quality test results & present to management
4) Implement lean strategies i.e. straight through flow, single piece flow, cycle time variation reduction etc
5) Conduct internal audits & initiate corrective action
What You Need for this Position 1) Bachelors in Engineering discipline (in a perfect world Welding Degree)
2) Strong welding background is a plus
3) 5+ years of manufacturing quality background (ideally in Automotive but Aerospace/Medical background is good too)
4) Ability to read blueprints and/or engineering drawings and use subsequent quality tools
5) Travel roughly 20% between the Denver, Ephrata & Morgantown facilities (all close by)
