The Associate Product Marketing Manager (aka Marketing Product Specialist) role is a career game changer. Reporting to the Microelectronics Packaging Global Product Manager, you are the hub, bringing Manufacturing, Research & Development, Process Engineering & Quality Engineering together with Sales & Marketing to achieve outstanding results in the market.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop standard pricing guidelines, provide guidelines to Inside Sales and contribute to pricing improvement programs based on your indepth analysis of internal cost, margins and market positioning by product and service type.
Conduct analysis to support product/service roadmaps by identifying growing and declining products, evaluating related margins, as well as the success factors for each growing or declining area.
Serve as a subject matter expert on products and service and serve as a valuable resource for Sales colleagues and customers product capability, benefits and value.
Assist with the development and management of messaging and content including training materials, literature, website and other mediums. Responsible for understanding and maintaining product/service capability matrix. Use and maintain no quote database.
Capture data of product/service line for growth, profitability and strategic initiatives, as well as assuring new business opportunities are identified within the CRM.
Complete product specification reviews and create product data sheets.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Engineering
Minimum of 2 years of experience in product planning and data analysis in a maufacturing company
Strategic analytical thinking and decision making skills
Technical ability across a broad array of quantitative and qualitative methods
Strong communications skills and computer skills necessary and should include knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel AND be able to learn database management.
Knowledge of SAP and ability to interrogate history strongly preferred.
